The Advanced Water Recycling Plant processes waste water to a drinking water standard and returns up to 14 billion litres (extendable to 28 billion litres) to the groundwater supply.
The Victoria Desalination Plant is a $3.5 billion initiative by the Victorian Government to secure a water supply to Melbourne and surrounding districts. The plant is the largest in Australia supplying 150 billion litres of water a year. Construction began in 2009 with water being delivered in 2012.
The Moranbah Project built a fully integrated Ammonium Nitrate manufacturing complex with an output of 300,000 tonnes per annum. The $935 million project began construction in 2010 with commissioning completed in 2012.
